WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the QC Lab and Blood Center, supervising staff who perform moderate to advanced testing, processing, and preparation of pathogen-reduced platelet blood products for release to area hospitals. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will work alongside your team in the manufacturing process, actively participating in hands-on tasks to support daily production and uphold quality standards. You will be responsible for hiring and training staff, providing ongoing education and development, and offering leadership guidance to ensure a high-performing team. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, as well as the ability to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment that supports both operational goals and customer care outcomes. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
May participate in the validation of hardware, software, instrumentation, test kits, and procedures as directed. Serve as departmental expert on the applicable computer systems. The aforementioned responsibilities of the position describe the general nature and level of work and are not an exhaustive list. Standard Schedule: Sun - Thu 9 pm 5:30 am.
