Essential Job Duties	The specific duties for these positions will include assisting with planting, managing, and harvesting research trials in our greenhouses and on our research station and on-farm trials. Our research program is based in Raleigh, but these positions will include substantial travel opportunities to field sites around eastern NC and in our laboratories on campus. This position is a spring/summer time limited position that will run from March-August 2025.

Requirements and Preferences

Work Schedule	40/hrs per week between, Monday-Friday, 6:30am-6:30pm

Minimum Experience/Education	Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties
Department Required Skills	Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be comfortable working around farm machinery Must be able to tolerate heat and dusty conditions of summer field work Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education	An interest in plant production and a high level of accuracy Attention to detail Passion to learn more about plants and agricultural research along with experience in horticulture and/or a related major
Required License or Certification	Valid driver's license
Valid NC Driver's License required?	Yes
