Job Summary

The MedEx and Pathway Programs Program Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Program Manager. The coordinator assists in the implementation of programs and learning experiences including coordination with key personnel in the clinical learning environment, scheduling experiences and communicating with, and supporting students. The Program Coordinator plays a key role in recruiting students to explore careers in healthcare and maintaining databases that track trainee experiences and outcomes.

  • Essential Functions

    • All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference

    • Performs administrative duties, including but not limited to developing and maintaining lists of learning experiences and key contacts in those areas, managing schedules for learning experiences and coordinating meetings and communications.

    • Assists with recruiting of students to healthcare career pathway programs including MedEx.

    • Tracks, assists and supports students including mentoring and advising, in partnership with Prisma Health team members and academic partners.

    • Builds and manages database of trainees and alumni. Troubleshoots end-user issues and determines resolution or escalation.

    • Articulates the mission, vision and strategic directives of the program, and represents the program to both internal and external stakeholders.

    • Assist with research and reporting with data analytics on initiatives to evaluate goal performance and to ensure outcomes demonstrate best practices.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

    • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Education - Bachelor's degree

    • Experience - No experience required.
