We Are Inspired to Serve. Join us!Covenant Care Home Health and Hospice is seeking an Administrative Assistant. This position is responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative duties to support the Home health department.

In this role, the Administrative Assistant will support the Home Health Department by:

  • Answering phones and directing calls appropriately

  • Orders and medical records tracking

  • Discharge tracking

  • Hospital re-admission tracking

  • Creating and maintaining stock of admission packets

  • Regular updating assistance for patient both electronic and paper medical records

  • Routine filing, paperwork, and other tasks as assigned by Clinical Director/Agency administrator

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • One year of related office experience providing clerical or administrative support.
  • Experience in home health setting preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written in English.
  • Complete confidentiality when circulating general information
  • ProficientMicrosoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to deal tactfully with staff, patients and family members/caregivers and have an interest in and desire to work with older adults.

Compensation Pay Range:

$16.39 - $22.93

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $16.39 - $22.93. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
