Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Program Specialist is responsible for providing administrative oversight and coordination of activities and resources in support of ICP'S operational programs and contributes directly to the completion of goals and initiatives that drive development, integration and growth of assigned programs. The role is responsible for providing comprehensive support to assigned projects or program tasks that influence Alternative Payment Model (APM) development or financial, operational, clinical and regulatory performance. Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with various leaders and staff completing simple tasks to complex projects. Performs liaison activities, and provides progress reports within the department, and among multiple levels of management. The Program Specialist works with management to initiate and execute small/low risk projects to meet organizational expectations and deadlines, promoting effective communication across all levels of the organization, managing stakeholder expectations, and proactively bringing to the attention of management risks and issues.
- Program Strategy Support: Participates in projects to implement, test, and support new tools and technologies relevant to APM programs and other departmental processes. Assists in the creation of timelines and plans to execute projects, and management of progress against those timelines. Assists in the development, optimization, and support of APM programs and other departmental processes.
- Communication and Collaboration: Coordinates provider and practice staff engagement such as calls, emails, and meetings related to the APM programs, and payer functions. Assists in provider participant marketing and education. Supports engagement initiatives and related initiatives across ICP departments when relevant. Collaborates and coordinates with manager to develop educational materials and content for internal and external parties including website updates, newsletter articles, webinar content, and other communications.
- Operational Support: Supports the management of quality reporting initiatives. Builds reports, tracks, trends, and performs analysis on program data and evaluates impact on APM performance. Manages program participant lists, contracts, and agreements internally and with CMS/CMMI. Assists with scheduling meetings, developing presentations, creating agendas, and taking minutes.
- Monitoring and Compliance: Keeps abreast on CMS/CMMI changes, program nuances, APM program overlap and interplay, etc. Assists with the analysis of new regulations, regulatory memos and program requirements for organizational impact and implementation.

Associate's Degree Required
Experience
2 years project experience in a healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of relevant education, business and healthcare experience supporting project teams. Required
