How You'll Perform the Role

  • Coordinates with Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
  • General knowledge and safe operation of a wide variety of hand tools.
  • General knowledge and safe operation of power tools to include drill, grinder, hammer drill, impact, sawzall, etc.
  • General knowledge of mechanical drive systems, to include v-belts & timing pulleys, gears, bearings and etc. to effectively perform various duties to install and maintain production equipment.
  • General knowledge is preferred but not required in pneumatics and hydraulics in order to effectively perform various duties to maintain production equipment.
  • Performs minor plumbing maintenance to include repairing of leaks in drains, faucets, water lines, unclogging of drains, adding new lines, etc.
  • Performs minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work to include preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, repairing doors, locks, and handles, etc.
  • Performs minor electrical maintenance to include replacement or repair of fixtures, wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs, minor appliances, cords, etc.
  • Under the supervision of a Maintenance Technician II, III and/or Supervisor:

    • Performs machine setup and ensures proper techniques are performed.
    • Performs basic mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and troubleshooting of production equipment.
    • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make needed adjustments.
    • Perform regular preventive maintenance on production equipment and machines.


  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns.
  • Pass a forklift training class to safely operate.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

What We Need From You

  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Work overtime as required and be on-call rotation.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
  • Experience or the ability to operate forklift equipment.
  • Ability to successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.
  • Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
