Position Summary Ability and experience to schedule planned work in an excel format or in Primavera 6, plan jobs (using SAP Maintenance Module is a plus) in a petrochemical or industrial environment and requisitioning of material, knowledge of mechanical equipment so task can be stepped out. Responsibilities Accurate schedule that utilizes all the necessary manpower available and insures that schedule is distributed to the correct individuals, mainly the Defect Eliminators, and the Maintenance Team Leaders. Accurate schedule that takes into account the manpower limits for the facility, for the craft, and for each operating area. Planning portion in SAP where maintenance task or job activities for that WO are detailed. Scheduler is to work with his supervisor to improve the Planning and Scheduling process. Planner will look at the job in the field and work with the necessary personnel to insure a good plan is developed. Requisitioning of material for the job on the components page of the work order. Participate in the Gatekeeper (OMC; Operations Maintenance Coordinator) meeting that is an area meeting.
