Overview:

Supports the hardware, software and other in-scope technologies within the production environment by pro-actively monitoring and quickly responding toincidents for one or more technologies within the technical area of expertise. Proactively resolve issues and incidents while remaining focused on security, up-time and performance. Provide troubleshooting and resolution on assignedroutine to semi-complex problems and perform voice related service requests.

Responsibilities:



  • Perform Voice related moves, adds and changes including voice mail
  • Open, update and close incident and request tickets for assigned in-scope tasks
  • Detection and validation of impacts, or potential impacts, through the use of monitoring tools and access to devices for Data and Voice
  • Repair and/or remediation of an impacting Incidents and fulfill all requests for Voice Operations technologies in-scope
  • Participate in correlating events together to enable quick identification of root cause.
  • Communicate with end user and/or technical resources; escalate issues impacting multiple users, engage third party vendors for support as required
  • Support documentation of process and procedures as require
  • Troubleshooting and work with requestor and other teams
  • Demonstrate continual focus on process enhancement and improvement


Qualifications:



  • Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years experience in an enterprise support environment
  • Experience with troubleshooting end-user Network and VOIP related issues in an enterprise environment
  • Basic understanding of VOIP and Network fundamentals
  • Ability to diagnose and link system events and alerts into potential business impacts
  • Can utilize application based performance capture tools for analysis and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills to support user and leadership escalation
  • Proven advanced troubleshooting and analysis demonstrated for in-Scope technologies
  • Accessing and comfortable working with voice hardware and devices in-scope
  • Professional certifications in Information Technology (A+, Network+ or CCNA preferred)
