Key Responsibilities

  • Remote position.
  • Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable and fault-tolerant applications that power both our external and internal systems.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and API data exchanges of our global infrastructure.
  • Design innovative web based solutions and features for our web applications serving customers and internal teams.
  • Create intuitive user experience visualizing complex data sets.
  • Eliminate friction points along the user interaction with data elements.
  • Implement automated testing integrated into CICD to assure high quality and rapid deployments.
  • Promote secure, scalable and high quality coding practices.
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile and desktop devices.
  • Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
  • Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company.

Qualifications

  • Provable proficiency in Elixir programming language and Phoenix/LiveView/Ecto frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate with the team to design and build high quality code, while demonstrating a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
  • Must have 2+ years professional experience working with Elixir.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience working with functional programming language
  • Ability to adapt with changing technologies in a startup-like environment.
  • Attention to details.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with git.
  • Experience working with API's.
  • Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and databases like Postgres/SQL Server.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.
