The Impact You'll Make

Support company strategic business decisions with detailed analysis of the semiconductor manufacturing equipment market.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze market trends, create detailed reports, develop forecasting models, manage research projects, and present findings.
  • Design, build, maintain and utilize complex market sizing models to evaluate the company's performance to targets, competitors, and the industry.
  • Work with product groups, sales groups and account teams to fully and completely map both Lam and competitor product positions across the customer space.
  • Evaluate and report market share across products and market segments, including product segments outside the company's established SAM.
  • Consult and work with internal and external organizations to enhance the fidelity and accuracy of internal analyses.
  • Participate in internal forums as a subject matter expert in the company's market estimates and analytics processes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the various semiconductor manufacturing process nodes, associated process flows and ramp timing for the customer base.
  • Ensure consistent reporting of market information across functional organizations and stakeholders.
Who We're Looking For

The marketing analyst position requires strong technical skills and knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and economics. Key technical skills required for this role include statistical analysis software, data visualization tools, market research tools, database management, and forecasting methods. The ideal candidate will have an MS or Ph.D. in either Engineering (Chemical, Material Science, Mechanical) or Sciences or an MBA (General Management, Marketing orOperations specialization) and 5 years or equivalent experience in Semiconductor Equipment industry or Semiconductor Manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with wafer fabrication processes and associated equipment markets.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
