This position is full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 1800 41ST ST-S-500, Everett, WA. We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 7:00am to 5:30pm PST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted onsite. Primary Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. - Work with all members of the department health care team ensuring smooth patient flow within department. Use Standard tools to monitor individual and departmental performance on key metrics.
- Determine appropriate staffing mix and amount to meet routine and special patient needs and arranges staff coverage. Responsible for the day-to-day operations. Takes a leadership role in problem solving with employees and patients.
- Direct work of staff, including supervision, hiring, and terminations; determine staffing needs, and ensure efficient utilization of staff. Monitor skill development and performance of the staff. Provide orientation for all new staff and coaches for high performance. Give regular performance feedback and conducts performance appraisals.
- Meet regularly with CPM and physicians. Perform other duties including monitoring budget expectations as indicated by CPM, researching and resolving customer complaints.
- Communicate information to all staff, manager and physicians as necessary. Conducts staff meetings as needed. Lead and/or Participate in departmental quality improvement and service excellence activities. Research and resolve clinical quality issues.

- Ensures confidentiality of patient information following HIPAA guidelines, TEC, TPC, and Optum policies.
- Attends training to meet requirements of the job position and as needed or mandated by TEC, TPC, and Optum policies, Div. of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), OSHA, L&I and other state/federal regulations.
- Has regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma / GED
- Completion of formal Medical Assistant program or Pharmacy Technician program with WA State certification
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+years of experience working under current certification

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ADA, Fitness for Duty, FMLA policy, HIV counseling procedures & blood borne pathogen protocols, WISHA/OSHA mandated regulations, Personal protective equipment, Hazards materials, and Infection control procedures
- Demonstrated supervisory skills
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrates ability to carry out skills, as outlined in the Medical Assistant job description, for clinical areas in accordance with clinical standards and clinic policy
- Skill in applying & modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional medical assistance to provide on-going patient care
- Knowledge and ability to teach and apply current theories, techniques and practice
- Critical thinking skills, ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, etc.)

CONTACT: Physicians, staff, patients, public and possibly vendors. The hourly range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment.
