Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Verification Test Lea to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking an experienced
Verification Test Lead to oversee and execute functional and performance testing activities for Navy ERP Central Component (ECC) systems. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of
SAP Solution Manager (SolMan),
OpenText Application ALM Quality Center, and proven experience in leading and coordinating verification and validation efforts. This role involves planning, executing, and reporting on test activities, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate test events by planning, monitoring, and tracking testing activities.
Develop and execute verification and validation methods, ensuring thorough coverage of requirements.
Generate and maintain bi-directional traceability of requirements to test cases.
Create detailed test plans and conduct test design activities to generate robust test cases and procedures.
Perform integration, system, functional, performance, and acceptance testing to validate system functionality.
Oversee test execution, capture test data, and generate test metrics.
Analyze test results, compare them against acceptance criteria, and provide assessments and recommendations.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive test reports, presentations, and briefings to stakeholders.
Identify, assess, and recommend solutions to resolve test deficiencies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with project objectives.
Education and Experience
- 5 years of experience.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field.
Required Skills
Expert knowledge of Navy ERP Central Component (ECC) for conducting both functional and performance testing.
Expert knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) suite.
Expert knowledge of OpenText Application ALM Quality Center for managing and tracking testing activities.
Ability to plan and execute verification and validation methods, ensuring full traceability of requirements to tests.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams, coordinate test events, and monitor test activities.
Skilled in creating test plans and conducting test design activities to generate comprehensive test cases and procedures.
Ability to execute integration, system, functional, performance, and acceptance testing.
Skilled in capturing and analyzing test data, generating metrics, and providing insights based on results.
Proficient in preparing detailed test reports, briefings, and assessments for stakeholders, sponsors, and customers.
Ability to identify and recommend solutions for test deficiencies effectively and promptly.
