Description

Support the MarCom team with its goal of setting the standard for marketing at Milliman by providing systems, services, and strategic guidance that elevate the brand, empower our professionals, and enable growth.

What You Will Do

Business development:



  • Support the team with the creation of content for client meetings and pitches
  • Client and competitor research
  • Update and improve proposal content
  • Create and maintain client fee database
  • Collate best practices from client facing content and create a library for firmwide access


Client data



  • Support the management of client data within Dynamics, our CRM system, to ensure it is accurate and up to date
  • Create reports with data available in Dynamics
  • Analyze data and make recommendations on follow up marketing/business development activity


Operations



  • Update the MarCom internal SharePoint site as required
  • Assist with internal and external event preparations, including venue research, registration site maintenance, attendee management, etc.
  • Review profiles on Milliman's website to ensure adherence to firmwide guidelines


Media and Publishing



  • Support press list creation and media research
  • Occasionally support editorial content creation (emails, social media posts)


There will be additional requests and requirements based on business needs.

The Team

The role sits within the business development team which is part of the MarCom department. The MarCom department provides strategic communications and branding support to help the firm, the disciplines, the profit centers and the offices with their marketing needs.

This includes meetings support, email marketing, CRM management, website development, media and public relations, creative services, and business development.

Location

This position is based out of the Milliman office in New York City, New York. Candidates hired into this role must be willing to work onsite full-time.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $23 - $40 per hour depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
