General Summary Provides Occupational Health Care with the supervision but not necessarily the presence of a qualified physician member of the medical staff. Takes patient history, performs physical examination, orders and interprets tests, makes diagnoses and institutes appropriate treatment programs. Performs nursing functions independently. Works in collaboration with staff physicians, house officers, nurses and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved in a safe and efficient manner. Specific procedures are individually credentialed as indicated by training and experience. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires Master's Degree in Nursing; licensure as a Certified Nurse Practitioner; licensure as a Registered Nurse; and BCLS certification. Additional Information
