Inventory and Warehouse Associate - Orthotic Washington, DC Pay From: $17 per hour MUST: Experienced Inventory and Warehouse Associate 1+ years of professional experience working as an Inventory Specialist / Warehouse Associate 1+ years of experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Medical Supplies Experience with DME and Medical Supplies such as medical grade stockings, shoes, braces, supports, and mastectomy products Experience working with Orthotic/Mastectomy/ Diabetic (DME) and Medical Supplies Must have strong customer service experience Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must be detailed oriented, technology savvy and strong mathematical skills Must have previous data entry experience Excellent phone and customer relations skills Must be able to operate office machinery and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Must be able to occasionally lift/move items up to 50 pounds Sitting/standing/walking at the desk, in the office, and throughout the facility Scheduling flexibility and ability to work at multiple locations as needed 2 Years of College education or equivalent degree or a National certification for Pharmacy Technician DUTIES: Merchandise, restocks, labels, and cleans the retail shelves/pegs and performs inventory transfers Unloads, unpacks, inspects, counts, and stores incoming supplies and equipment Picks, assembles, and stages equipment and supplies from the warehouse for order fulfillment and stock replenishment Performs equipment basic assembly before displaying and handovers Performs general building and maintenance tasks as required; includes routine cleaning, upkeep, and safety walks Performs Durable Medical Equipment (DME) repairs and cleaning Assists customers with Point-of-Sale transactions Assist patients/clients to answer questions/resolutions about products Assist customers with their car with their bulk orders and equipment Assist Customer service representatives with bulk order fulfillment Serves as back-up shipping clerk when needed; includes UPS shipping direct to facilities/patients Serves as back-up receiving clerk; includes unloading trucks, purchase order receiving, returns processing and stocking the warehouse Orders and Receives equipment Durable Medical Equipment (DME) parts Assembling of new planogram fixtures such as displays and shelving units Displays Durable Medical Equipment (DME) merchandise according to planograms Maintains product pricing and labeling Performs inventory Checks expiration dates and rotates inventory Performs cyclic showroom inventory counts on merchandise Performs store supplies and fixed assets inventory Maintains a safe work environment Collaborate on Warranty claims and provide information Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
