Location: Los Angeles, CA (Pasadena and Pacific Palisades neighborhoods)
ECC is seeking an Environmental Site Supervisor to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA, for the LA fires debris removal project. This position is ideal for candidates with environmental project experience, which may include asbestos abatement, hazardous materials management, fire debris removal, disaster recovery, environmental remediation, environmental restoration, or construction projects.
Thisfull-time field supervisor rolerequiresextended hours, including weekends, as needed by the project. Additional compensation for hours worked is provided. This position provides a full benefits package. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. The position is immediately available and is expected to last approximately 6-9 months.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee crews working in the field for fire debris removal activities and asbestos abatement in assigned work areas.
  • Ensure strict compliance with environmental regulations, contract requirements, and project specifications.
  • Supervise site personnel, including subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient work execution.
  • Coordinate and schedule debris removal operations, focusing onhazardous materials management.
  • Maintain detailed field records and submit specific environmental reports to include asbestos-specific reports as required.
  • Enforce all OSHA, EPA, and state regulations related to hazardous materials and asbestos abatement.
  • Work closely with theHealth & Safety Officer, Quality Control Officer, Site Superintendent, and CQC Site Managersto ensure compliance.
  • Identify task-specific equipment and materials required for asbestos abatement and site cleanup.
  • Assist and lead field teams in achieving task requirements.
  • Provide leadership in the field to ensureworker safety, regulatory compliance, and project efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Experience in environmental remediation.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations
  • Ability to work inchallenging field conditionsand manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Prior experience supervising crews indebris removal or environmental remediation projects.
  • Prior experience with asbestos abatement, hazardous materials removal, prior fire debris removal projects desired
  • Current 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification, or be able to obtain one
  • Must be able to pass a background check, MVR, and drug test, and have a current valid Driver's license.
  • Education:High School diploma or GED. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement. Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Construction or closely related degree desired, but not required.

ECC targeted salary range for US locations average is $79,996.80 annually (based on 40 hours per week) Additional compensation for hours worked up to 11 hours a day 6 or 7 days a week. (potential to earn $2,538 to $2,962 per week or more)
Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
