The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine are seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time neuropathologist faculty member with research, clinical service, and teaching responsibilities as an Assistant or Associate Professor on the traditional clinical track. The successful candidate will become an integral member of the multidisciplinary neurosciences research community at the University of Southern California and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Clinical responsibilities will include pediatric neuropathology, brain tumor and muscle biopsy sign-out. The candidate will be actively involved in teaching fellows, residents and medical/graduate students and must be willing to participate in departmental and interdepartmental conferences. The candidate must hold an MD or MD/PhD degree, be eligible for an unrestricted California Medical License, and be Board Certified (or board eligible at time of appointment) in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology. Special consideration will be given to candidates with research interests in developmental neuropathology and/or molecular pathology. Salary and appointment rank will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and training. The annual base salary range for this position is $250,000-$350,000.
