About the Job
The University of Minnesota, Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery welcomes applications for a full-time Assistant Professor on the academic or clinician track (track to be determined by qualification and interest). Practice: Candidates will be expected to build a full-time Head & Neck Surgical practice. The individual will provide clinical services at the University of Minnesota Medical Center/M Health and at Hennepin Healthcare. The University of Minnesota Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery has more than 130 years of history of treating patients, conducting research, and educating the next generation of otolaryngologists. The department is home to more than 50 physicians providing the latest in patient care through the University of Minnesota Physicians - our clinical practice made up of more than 700 university doctors. Our physicians diagnose and treat a variety of ear, nose and throat problems - from the most common to the most complex. Most have special training or conduct research in an area of expertise. About the Medical School:
M Health and Clinical Partnerships: This position is dually employed by the University of Minnesota Physicians (UMP) and will require a separate application in UMP's employment system. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: The full-time base salary range for this clinical position will be $300,000 - $400,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications. This range does not include base salary provided by the University of Minnesota for faculty positions. It may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs. Please note that only compensation provided by MPhysicians is included in benefit determinations. University of Minnesota Physicians has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what it reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
