Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Fabricates, repairs, and maintains orthotic and prosthetic devices, according to specifications and under guidance of the Orthotist/Prosthetist, and/or Orthotic/Prosthetic technician.

• Maintains fabrication practices and inventory management practices for maximum work efficiency, safety, and cost effectiveness

• Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work environment

• Performs shipping, receiving and assists in monitoring inventory. Contacts vendors to order materials

• Assists in scheduling patients for evaluation, fitting and follow up. Assists in monitoring patient schedules to ensure that orthotic and prosthetic devices are fully completed for deliver

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned

• Experience - No experience required.
