Overview

Egan Company is hiring a Fire & Security Inspection Coordinator to join our Service team in Champlin, MN! In this role you'll manage inspection schedules, coordinate with technicians, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities


  • Answer phones and make outbound calls with enthusiasm; promote Egan's services and book/confirm inspection appointments.



  • Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced ever changing environment, attention to detail, and a vigilant eye on how to grow the business.



  • Manage inspections for a team of technicians to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner.



  • Make outbound phone calls and send emails to schedule preventive maintenance.



  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors and internal business groups.



  • Maintain the team's individual schedules using scheduling software.



  • Use Google Sheets to track and record progress of inspections for the team.



  • Back up other team members when they are out of the office.



  • Verify customer information within our ERP system for accuracy.



  • Review call summary reports and distribute based on follow up needed.



  • Maintain record keeping of all inspections throughout the year.



  • Submit any necessary inspections to Compliance Engine or other governing authorities.



  • Review deficiency reports and distribute to Inside Sales/Account Managers.



  • Work with Inside Sales to process yearly software renewals.



  • Back up the contracts administrator with Fire/Security/ monitoring contracts and renewals.



  • Route calls to appropriate team members or business groups.



  • Enter customer information and opportunities into Egan's CRM software.



  • Ability to take the On Call Phone on a rotating schedule.



  • Assist in the completion of special projects and other duties as requested.



  • Maintain professionalism, positive working relations and open communication with Egan employees and customers.



  • This position may require a start time between 7:00 and 8:00 am, and occasional after hours support.



  • Other duties as assigned.




Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Qualifications


  • Some industry experience is preferred, but not required, such as low voltage, electrical, HVAC or plumbing.



  • Desire to learn and continually improve.



  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of employees and customers.



  • Strong organizational skills.



  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.



  • Proficient typing and knowledge of standard computer programs, including Google Suite applications



  • Team player mindset - willing to assist others as needed.




Working Conditions


  • Performance of duties will be in the office.



  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.

Hourly Range: $25-$27 (subject to such factors as experience, education, and/or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
