Description Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our customer in Fremont, CA *Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:* Conducts technical tests and experiments to support process engineering within R&D. Sets up processing equipment and ensures proper operation. Monitors, audits, and provides guidance to line operators. Processes test runs and compiles records, charts, and graphs for presentation to engineering teams, aiding in the identification of yield issues or the testing of new products. Provides technical support to process development and engineering personnel. Here's what you will receive: Pay: $37.14/hour (includes shift differential) Duration : 2-year contract with a possibility to convert to full time based on business needs and performance Schedule: Swing Shift Hours: 12pm-9pm, 1pm-10pm, 2pm-11pm, Mon-Fri Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Minimum High School Diploma or GED. More than 3 years of experience as a Process Technician Experience with Metrology such as CD - SEM Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Operate computer interface and navigate diagnostic software Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) Effectively read, write, and communicate with others in English Ability to work shifts in a clean room environment wearing PPE (bunny suit, safety glasses, masks, shields, gloves, safety footwear) if needed Preferred cleanroom or general lab experience related to the semiconductor industry, plasma or wet etching Preferred experience with thin film/semiconductor sample preparation, SEM imaging, and microscopy work A genuine interest in advanced technology and an ongoing desire to learn consistently demonstrates the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities (ex., rework, overtime) Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check screen.
