We're seeking a future team member for the role of Network IT Risk Manager to join our Technology Services Group, Network Services team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID (2-3 days in office required). In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- An IT Risk Manager is a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of an organization's network services. These individuals leads, drives, coordinates, tracks, and reports all risk, audit, and vulnerability items.
- The Risk Manager will review, develop, and implement risk policies and procedures under network services. These policies are essential for establishing a standardized approach to managing risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Developing a repeatable process to document, track, and resolve network risk issues is a critical function of the IT Risk Manager. This process ensures that all risk issues are systematically addressed, tracked to resolution, and documented for future reference.
- The IT Risk Manager coordinates with various teams to address risk, audit, and vulnerability items. They are responsible for tracking the progress of these items and reporting on their status to senior management. This involves maintaining clear communication channels and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of the current risk landscape.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 8 - 10 years of related infrastructure experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- ITIL Certified: Demonstrates proficiency in IT service management to improve and optimize IT services.
- CISA, CIA, GSNA Certifications (a plus): These certifications acknowledge expertise in information systems audit, internal audit, and network security.
- Experience in enterprise networks
- Experience in Enterprise Networks: Essential for understanding and managing complex network infrastructures.
- Thorough Understanding of Computer Systems and Networks: Fundamental for identifying vulnerabilities and improving security measures.
- Leadership Abilities: The IT Risk Manager must demonstrate strong leadership to motivate and inspire networking teams. Effective leadership ensures alignment with organizational risk management goals and a commitment to mitigating potential threats.
- Motivating Teams: Ability to inspire and encourage team members to drive risks to closure.
- System and Network Knowledge: Must possess in-depth knowledge of systems and networks to assess and manage risks effectively.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to minimize potential threats.
