Non-Exempt Temporary or Casual

• Commit to working full-time (40 hours per week) during normal office hours (8:00am-5:00pm) for the duration of the nine-week program (Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required)
• Attend all weekly seminar series and required activities
• Be a mentor to the M-ASCEND high school interns
• Create and present a poster at the program-end symposium at the close of the program

Required qualifications

• An incoming sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate student. Students graduating in May 2025 are not eligible.
• Enrolled in a two or four-year college/university in Minnesota OR be a Minnesota resident attending a two or four-year accredited college/university within the United States.

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota was created more than 50 years ago in response to a legislative mandate to train primary care physicians. Pay Rate: $15.25 per hour
