The Associate IS Technician will handle all the Associate Technical Agent duties and more. The Associate Service Desk Technician is the initial point of contact responsible for accurately gathering details of reported incidents or requests from various intake methods. Maintains established department policies and procedures while improving organization performance and stability. Understands and adheres to performance operational metrics and adherence policies. Responsible for resolving issues or escalating unresolved problems/issues/requests to the proper tier 2 and 3 support teams with accurate documentation using system approved tools. Requires excellent customer service skills as well as technical troubleshooting skills with ability to identify data trends and call patterns.

Required Qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, General Studies -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Within 2 years of hire date: ITIL Foundations
  • Within 2 years of hire date: HDI Customer Service Representative
  • 2 or more years of call center, customer service or IT experience
