Responsible for delivering high-quality, life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training to hospital staff, patients, and the community. This role ensures that individuals are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials

  • Current certification as a BLS Instructor required.

Experience

  • Experience in teaching CPR, BLS, ACLS, or PALS courses, particularly in a healthcare setting 1-2 years preferred and
  • Experience in a healthcare setting 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of CPR techniques, life-saving practices, and emergency response procedures
  • Strong instructional and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Patient, calm, and able to handle high-pressure situations, providing clear instructions during training and emergency simulations
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage training schedules, certifications, and record-keeping accurately
  • Ability to assess and evaluate participant performance, providing constructive feedback in a supportive and encouraging manner
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of CPR training and certification.
