Responsibilities The Oklahoma Heart Hospital (OHH) is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary health care and deliver specialized medical services under the direction of a physician. This role involves conducting thorough medical assessments, interpreting findings, and ensuring proper documentation to facilitate effective patient care. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing follow-up appointments, providing hospital rounding support, and establishing strong relationships with patients, families, and the medical team. Key Responsibilities: Medical History & Assessments: Conduct detailed medical history interviews and perform comprehensive evaluations of medical conditions to provide accurate diagnoses. Clinical Documentation: Interpret findings, maintain accurate patient records, and prepare comprehensive reports in compliance with hospital standards and policies. Patient Care: Prepare new patients for clinic visits, manage follow-up care for existing patients, and ensure timely documentation of patient interactions. Hospital Rounding & Evaluation: Provide evaluations for new consults at clinical sites, perform History & Physical (H&P) exams, and prepare discharge summaries. Physician Support: Answer physician pager calls during procedures, as directed, and provide other support as needed to ensure smooth clinical operations. Why Join Oklahoma Heart Hospital? Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and medical staff. Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required.
