THE OPPORTUNITY

Join Michelin in Greenville as a Senior Industrial Engineer/Progress Leader - TWI and become part of a team dedicated to achieving operational excellence! This outstanding opportunity allows you to deploy your expertise in Progress Metier orientations, lead MWB#2 operational excellence, and mentor the PSMT on MMW or equivalent experience. WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Complete Progress Metier tasks from Critical Observation through long-term capacity planning (PSQ/PSV, R1, and R9 forecasting) without delegation.
  • Guarantee that Progress standards and referentials are updated and deployed, including staffing, capacity cylinders, and cycle times.
  • Construct and animate the Initiative Progress plan to drive entity performance improvement.
  • Express Progress requires (training/assistance) and standard methodologies.
  • Lead the Capacity Innovation pillar for the site.
  • Maintain the site's capacity model to assist with forecasting and special production requests from Supply Chain.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager and Venture Steering Team to identify manufacturing needs during the BAT process for new products.
  • Perform Industrial Evaluations for New Product Launches and all Process changes.
  • Work closely with the Business Partner Controller in determining Routings, developing Payroll Models, and analyzing and reporting monthly cost results. Serve as back up for monthly close.
  • Develop and maintain process standardization to ensure consistent application of Lean principles.
  • Coach and mentor plant leadership at all levels to ensure the successful adoption and sustainability of Lean initiatives.
  • Serve as Progress Advisor/Coach for MMW Best Practices.
  • Animate Problem Solving Tools (Boucle Courte, BibSolv) and Progress Tools (BiBBoost, BibFlex).
  • Promote the use of daily performance management tools and routines (MDP or equivalent experience).
  • Support the site manager in practicing, spreading, sustaining, and deepening the MMW Foundations to achieve operational excellence.
