What will you do

Under general direction from the HVAC Sales Manager, you are expected to:

  • Sell Johnson Controls equipment, controls, and HVAC service solutions to building/business owners.

  • Promote Johnson Controls value proposition to owners and endusers by providing business and technical solutions that will achieve their capital budget, operation budget, and overall corporate vision needs.

  • Execute the sales process to aid in cultivating and managing existing account relationships as well as seeking out, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities.

How you will do it

  • Sell, with minimal supervision, the Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to building/business owners while reaching optimal profit levels.

  • Focus on improving the building/business owner's existing and new facilities to allow them to achieve their business objectives.

  • Sell, renew, and expand planned service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customers.

  • Build partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Johnson Control offerings.

  • Address customer's operational and environmental objectives needs and requirements.

  • Recommend solutions and link customer objectives to a total value solution and competitive advantage.

  • Differentiate Johnson Controls services and products from competitors by applying creativity, ingenuity, and innovation in avalue-addedsales approach.

  • Pursue new opportunities with an entrepreneurial spirit to expand Johnson Controls' service footprint for HVAC equipment and controls.

What we look for
Required

  • A highly self-driven and emotionally mature individual capable of multitasking and thriving in the demanding environment of selling HVAC systems, equipment, controls solutions, and service agreements with minimal supervision.

  • Team oriented person with exceptional initiative, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Proficient skill in Microsoft Office utilities (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • High School degree and minimum of 10-years of Field Service experience in HVAC commercial equipment (AHU's, Chillers, boilers, etc.) and/or building automation systems (JCI, Siemens, Trane, etc.).

    • OR -

  • Bachelor's degree (business, engineering, or related discipline) and a minimum ofthreeyear of successful field sales experience (proposals and/or labor & material quotes) in HVAC commercial equipment and/or building automation systems.

Preferred

  • Five years successfully selling HVAC commercial equipment and/or building automation systems.

  • A deep understanding of the HVAC commercial service industry as it relates to account maintenance and interoffice execution.

  • Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business.
