Electronics Tester

Job Purpose:

Electronic Tester: Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods. Documents test results. May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement. May maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions.

Nature of Duties:

• Retrieve information needed to test boards and set up test stations.
• Test production boards and electronic assemblies for conformance utilizing test equipment.
• Process paperwork to accurately record test data.
• Isolate manufacturing defects and may be required to perform rework as needed.
• Must be available to overtime as needed and have a strong attention to detail
• Ability to sit, stand, bend and walk for long periods of time
• Duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
