Responsibilities

On our Team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care. You will work alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Greet patients, take and record vital signs, gather medical history, and prepare patients for exams and procedures.
  • Clinical Duties: Assist with routine procedures, administer injections, perform basic lab tests, and manage specimen collection. Ensure that exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patients.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients with instructions related to their care, including medication administration, lifestyle recommendations, and follow-up care. Answer patient questions and address concerns with empathy.
  • Administrative Support: Manage patient records using the electronic health record (EHR) system, schedule appointments, handle phone calls, and assist with billing and insurance processing as needed.
  • Coordination: Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including coordinating referrals, follow-up appointments, and communicating with other healthcare providers.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor medical supplies and ensure all necessary equipment is maintained and functioning properly.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • RN licensure, State of Iowa.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Mandatory Reporter training.
