Description
Essential Duties and Accountabilities: Perform all duties of the job classification. Qualification Standards: Completion of U.S. Armed Forces (AZ/6046) specialized "A" School listed on DD-214 or satisfactory completion of U.S. Navy Logs and Records curriculum courses and knowledge of NALCOMIS OMA-IMA software application. The Aircraft Logs and Records Supervisor shall have a minimum of a high school diploma with 10 years of experience in maintaining U.S. Naval aircraft, engine, GTS, ejection seat logbooks, Aeronautical Equipment Service Records and NALCOMIS / OOMA Configuration Management (CM) Auto Log-sets (ALS) required. Of the 10 years, 5 years must in a supervisory position over Aircraft Logs & Records. Must possess advanced knowledge of CNAF 4790.2 series and Logs and Records related instructions and publications. Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance and CAC card. Must have a valid state DL. Physical Demands: This classification activity is usually accomplished in an office/hangar environment and as such requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with office/hangar activities. May be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 pounds. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Work Environment: The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individuals to severe changes of temperature, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards. Licensing/Certification Requirements: *Formal or Specialized Training/Equivalent
