The firm's direct-to-consumer business, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, combines the entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up with more than 150 years of experience. Today, we serve millions of customers across multiple products, leveraging innovative design, data, engineering and other core capabilities to provide customers with powerful tools and products that are grounded in value, transparency and simplicity.

Responsibilities:



  • Create and maintain Learning and Development day-to-day operations such as training schedules and calendars for all Marcus US Deposits new hire and L&D sponsored events.
  • Occasionally support updates to procedures and training material.
  • Inform stakeholders on scheduled training and track progress.
  • Create reports on outcomes for training and maintain training records for the company.
  • Work with Tech teams to ensure participants are provisioned with the correct profiles and tools to fully participate in training programs.
  • Monitor training attendance, completion, and performance of participants, ensuring personnel meet training benchmarks and various requirements and guidelines.
  • Gather feedback and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training.
  • Monitor/Track the effectiveness of training programs to identify weaknesses and areas to improve future sessions.
  • Market company training opportunities to employees to encourage participation.
  • Act as virtual producer for L&D sponsored training events:
  • Responsible for the overall success of virtual events from a technical standpoint. Assist before, during, and after training to support the facilitator, participants, and the technology.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the identified virtual delivery platform including its features, functionalities, and limitations. Work with stakeholders including facilitators, and course designers before the event to acquire presentation content, configure planned interactions and prepare for live delivery.
  • Manage the technical delivery of the live session, assist the facilitator with interaction and moderation. Provide detailed instructions to participants on using available tools and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise.
  • Occasionally facilitate break out sessions with support of Facilitator


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, psychology, business or related studies or 5+ years of equivalent Learning & Development operations related experience.
  • Previous experience in adult education or related training activities strongly preferred.
  • Effective presentation, facilitation and listening skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Demonstrated professionalism with regards to confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking with the ability to prioritize tasks based on departmental goals and function.
  • Strong problem resolution and organizational skills.
  • 2 years of banking/financial service experience strongly preferred.
  • Currently uses and embraces technology to effectively and efficiently perform their job functions.
