Role: Communications and Marketing Coordinator Reports to: External Communications Manager Program: 7005- External Affairs Department: Development Location: Arlington Administration - 2116 Arlington Ave., Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90018 Setting: Not 100% Onsite Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Status: Full-time/Non-Exempt/Non-Management Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 403(b) Retirement plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), etc. Openings: 1 Summary Under supervision of the External Communications Manager, the Communications and Marketing Coordinator will help increase The People Concern's visibility by developing and designing marketing collateral, storytelling, content creation, internal communications coordination, and fundraising campaign execution. This position collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to advance the agency's mission. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: General * Coordinate and manage communication team projects. Collateral Development and Design * Assist with design of print and digital materials (impact reports, pitch decks, newsletters, one-pagers, event materials). Storytelling, Marketing Campaigns and Ongoing Communication * Build and maintain content library by identifying content needs, partnering with internal stakeholders, and creating compelling written and visual stories. Qualifications: * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) is required; candidates must demonstrate strong graphic design and multimedia production skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Proficiency in multiple languages; Spanish is a plus EXPECTED BEHAVIORS OF ALL STAFF
