This is a temporary position - reporting to the Director, Global Benefits, responsible for understanding and administering various aspects of employee benefit programs and leaves of absence in the U.S.



Responsibilities

    Benefits Administration
    • Administer employee benefits programs, such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
    • Maintain accurate employee benefits records and documentation.
    • Serve as the primary contact for employee benefit inquiries and resolve issues.
    • Communicate benefits information and conduct new hire orientation.
    • Liaise with benefits vendors and service providers.
    • Troubleshoot system issues.
    • Perform quality checks of benefits data.
    • Ensure compliance with benefits regulations.
  • Leave of Absence Coordination
    • Administer leave programs from request through return-to-work.
    • Liaise with third-party vendors for leave services and documentation.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees and management regarding leave policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate leave tracking and compensation.
    • Apply FMLA, ADA, and other relevant laws to leaves of absence.
  • Billing Reconciliation
    • Review and reconcile benefits billing statements.
    • Resolve discrepancies with vendors.
    • Collaborate with Payroll to reconcile benefits deductions.
  • Other Duties
    • Support special projects or tasks as needed.
    • Performs other duties as required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Benefits and/or Leave Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with diverse people at various organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF, and pivot tables).
  • Working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and Benefitfocus is preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

At Bruker, the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $64,800 and $113,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits, including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
