Snowflake Education Services's Academia program team is seeking a highly motivated intern to contribute to a suite of projects that bridge artificial intelligence, technical enablement, and community engagement. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the future of AI, education, and data technology.

WHAT WE EXPECT :
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship

  • Desired Class Level: Junior or Senior level students

  • Desired majors: Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Required coursework: Intro to Programming, Databases or SQL Fundamentals

  • Recommended coursework: Machine Learning, Cloud Computing

  • Bonus Experience:

    • Experience with Streamlit, Snowflake, or other cloud data platforms

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong interest in data platforms, AI/ML, and educational technology

  • Experience with Python or SQL (Snowflake or similar preferred)

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • A self-starter attitude with a desire to contribute creatively and strategically

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN / GAIN :
  • Exposure to Snowflake's AI/ML capabilities and ecosystem tools like Cortex and Streamlit

  • Hands-on experience with educational technology platforms and curriculum development

  • Cross-functional collaboration across product, community, and enablement teams

  • End-to-end project ownership and presentation opportunities

POSSIBLE TEAMS / WORK FOCUS AREAS :
  • AI Curriculum Development: Support the creation of hands-on labs, slides, and learning modules around Snowflake AI features

  • Educator Resource Platform: Collaborate on a system that tracks and visualizes resource allocations for academic institutions

  • Content & Community Enablement: Assist with documentation, blog writing, and social content tailored to learners and educators

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $29.00 - $37.00 per hour.

The successful candidate's starting hourly rate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; flexible spending & health savings account; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
