Welder - Production

Essential Duties:

*Work effectively in a team environment.

*Ability to weld using various materials and techniques.

*Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

*Ability to interpret weld symbols.

*Must be able to perform all work allocated.

*Complete talks while ensuring performance targets and quality are met.

*Must be able to work with minimum supervision

HS Diploma or equivalent.

*Two to three years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.

*Computer and organizational skills.*Have good interpersonal and communications skills.

*Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset.

*Goal orientated and motivated to achieve tasks within set timelines.

*Thorough knowledge of all types of welding procedures and practices.

*This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 poiunds.
