Job Description Role Summary: The Terracon Pittsburgh office is hiring a mid-to-senior level Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H) Engineer to be responsible for developing our H&H practice group, managing projects, and performing water resources engineering and consulting services for a broad array of environmental projects and clients. This may include performing and/or leading engineering analysis, calculations and recommendations, design and development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and the writing, preparation, and review of related reports for the services provided. The role will identify, evaluate, and recommend risk strategies/designs to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, prepare applicable permit applications, risk assessments and technical documents including proposals, reports and regulatory agency correspondence. This may also include design of systems and environmental protection plans, applying sound engineering principles, and being able to communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams. Services may include a variety of environmental-related work including ecological and natural resource field surveys, green stormwater management, and site planning and permitting.
