Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Executive for our Insights & Empowerment team with generalist focus on our S365, SmartShopper and ZNA products. This is a critical role within our organization that requires a strategic and results-driven professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding Zelis' footprint into new markets, focusing on leveraging health plans, claim systemTPAs, employers and brokers relationships as the entry point of sale. As a member of our team, you will play an integral part in our mission to revolutionize the healthcare payment landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing industry contacts within healthcare market, specifically focused on health plans and work across our Price/Payments teams to access prospects and new opportunities.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time to meet with potential clients and attend industry conferences.
  • Lead and manage the entire sales cycle, from prospect identification and outreach to close.
  • Expertly conduct cold calls to potential clients, employing strategies that engage and interest.
  • Negotiate contracts skillfully, ensuring optimal terms for both parties.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to stay updated on market trends, generate leads, and build brand awareness.
  • Identify and expand our solutions within existing customer base.
  • Achieve bookings quota and build 3x+ weighted pipeline coverage

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in healthcare sales, with particular focus on selling into payors and employers (ex:SaaS based applications and platforms)
  • Demonstrated track record of breaking into new markets and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong networking skills with a pre-established contacts in market space.
  • Excellent contract negotiation skills with a keen eye for details.
  • Comfortable with significant travel (up to 50%).

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.
