QPS Employment Group is hiring an Onsite Coordinator for our office in North Kansas City. We are looking for a passionate individual who is motivated, trustworthy, committed to hard work, and can embrace change. This position is responsible for keeping QPS Associate Employees active and engaged throughout their first week of training and employment to ensure established goals are met and QPS turnover expectations are satisfied. Through early intervention and appropriate support, they are devoted to helping QPS Associate Employees stay motivated while working in temporary employment and focused on their efforts to retain permanent employment with the client.

What You'll Be Doing:
Onboarding Support:
  • Touch base with candidates upon completion of the onboarding process to provide additional information on next steps, scheduling, and familiarization with the When I Work and Connecteam App.
  • Conduct check-ins for new employees, providing necessary training and guidance during their initial days

Employee Engagement:

  • Conduct regular visits to various work sites to perform random check-ins, ensuring compliance with company rules and expectations.
  • Daily communication of attendance and check-in is relayed to your supervisor and client.
  • Facilitate weekly safety walkthroughs and participate in Safety, Wellness, and Compliance (SWAC) calls.
  • Plan process and conduct random drug screens.
  • Proactively engage with employees on a weekly basis to gather feedback, provide coaching when needed, and address any concerns or complaints. Scheduling & Support: *
  • Reach out to employees who have missed shifts, shown up late, or encountered scheduling issues, providing necessary coaching, support and guidance.
  • Troubleshoot and assist in completing weekly payroll and invoicing.

What We Look For:

  • Customer service and administrative experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle multiple duties in a busy work environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with mainly 2nd shift hours
  • Professional and effective communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot/problem solve
