*W2 ONLY - WILL REQUIRE 3 DAYS ON-SITE EACH WEEK & MUST RESIDE IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:* *Hybrid Footprint* * Columbus, Ohio * Minnetonka,Minnesota * Flint, Michigan * Detroit, Michigan * Dallas, Texas * Chicago, Illinois * Charlotte, North carolina * Indianapolis, Indiana * Cincinnati, Ohio * Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania *Job Description: * The Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) team is seeking a Technical Lead to participate in development activities spanning multiple Salesforce platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to: * Independently build and unit test components as well as work with Dev/QA team members to resolve code and configuration-based defects. Lead a dev team and provide guidance/mentor as needed. * Provide direction to the dev team to conduct research and document results for new Salesforce capabilities or review exiting platform-related issues. * Lead Proof of concepts with the architects to evaluate and document new designs, integrations, patterns, and practices. *Additional Notes:* * Salesforce technical lead * Sales cloud experience and service cloud is a must have * Must have: leadership skills, being able to understand work through deployments, understand how devops works, sales cloud and service cloud * Person on a scrum team that would lead the developers * This person will be working with product owners, BSAs, other tech leads, etc. * Salesforce cloud - migrating to financial services cloud * Layer on top of sales cloud * Peer review, deploy code, standards for coding practices * Mentor for junior developers * Doing a lot of design work, peer reviews, little less hands on development * We also have offshore in this case * Only tech leads onshore - this team has 3 tech leads * Only open to Columbus and Minneapolis * Salesforce is core CRM, it is the starting point with any interaction with customers, if someone calls into call center it picks up person in salesforce * 2 step interview - first one with her and another manager - screening, then one technical round with technical leads *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Provide leadership and demonstrate proficiency in Core Salesforce capabilities such as: Apex, LWCs, flows, triggers, complex formulas, workflows, and security. * Participate in agile practices and ceremonies through scrum team planning sessions, user story refinement, daily status updates, code reviews and provide leadership to team members. * Participate in enhancements to DevOps processes (pipelines, monitoring, test automation). * Understanding of enterprise cross-system integration concepts such as processing events and interacting with APIs. * Conduct product/solution evaluations - including Salesforce capabilities and third-party vendor offerings - for domain by creating prototypes/Proof of concepts as a means to elicit clarify and design towards the business goals. * Design, document, and develop development patterns and best practices for consumption by COE technical delivery organization. * Mentor technical delivery staff. *Basic Qualifications:* * Bachelor's Degree * Min 4 years of progressively responsible technical and business work experience developing enterprise-level applications which includes Salesforce.com full-stack development experience. * Min 2-3 years in a scrum team environment * Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are primary to the success of this candidate. * SFDC Data Model knowledge across various cloud/products & strong data modeling experience. * Subject matter expertise in branching/code merging practices in GIT (or equivalent) repository. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Salesforce Certifications such as, but not limited to: Administrator, Platform Developer (1 and 2), Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant * Salesforce Financial Services Cloud experience highly preferred * Salesforce managed package evaluation, deployment, and upgrade experience highly preferred * Experience with Salesforce CI/CD(Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, etc) * Experience with other salesforce products like MuleSoft, Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be a plus *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
