Security Professional - Site Patrol

As a Security Professional - Site Patrol in Rockville, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

Our Patrol Officers are responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also provide exceptional customer service and communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. This position requires a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, and while a guard card or license is preferred, it is not mandatory. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• MD Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
