Senior Electrical Engineer - MEP

• Assist in the design of various projects nationwide;
• Establish and provide regular maintenance of design schedules;
• Design tasks to include creation of plans, wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment selection, load calculations, systems modeling and specifications;
• Work with senior level associates in various disciplines to coordinate and to execute each project;
• Lead and mentor team members as assigned;
• Attend project meetings including required travel for surveys and other tasks;
• Work closely with owners, contractors, architects and code authorities from project inception to completion to ensure project success;
• Perform analysis, calculations, design and documentation of electrical systems as required by project scope;
• Manage and perform construction administration responsibilities including submittals, RFIs, field reports, etc. as required.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering - minimum
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in electrical design and construction for commercial, industrial, data center, semi-conductor, institutional buildings and/or utility scale power;
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required;
• Experience and working knowledge of design and analysis software including REVIT, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP and/or BIM System(s);
• Working knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, principles and practices;
• Familiarity with other engineering disciplines including mechanical and plumbing requirements as well as architecture;
• In depth knowledge of lighting and lighting control systems, grounding and lightning protection systems, and electrical power distribution system design and analysis;
• Ability to lead and mentor/manage team members for large project deliverables.;
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Maps and/or other imaging tools;
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, when dealing with clients, project managers, junior design staff, and executive management;
• Able to meet the badging requirements set forth by our clients.
