The Opportunity
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing & Events Specialist to help plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events-including trade shows, webinars, virtual roundtables, and other customer- and prospect-facing experiences. This is a great opportunity for a marketing professional with a solid foundation and a passion for events to expand their impact.
In this role, you'll lead the day-to-day execution of events and related marketing efforts-including promotions, communications, and social media-while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our brand and demand generation goals. You'll also work with team members on event strategy to deliver engaging experiences that support business growth.
The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple priorities with ease, and works well across teams to bring ideas to life. Minimal travel, less than 5%.
Job Responsibilities:
Event Execution, Strategy Support & Budget Management
- Plan and manage the execution of trade shows, webinars, conferences, and customer events in coordination with the marketing team as well as other departments.
- Oversee logistics for virtual events, trade shows, and conferences, including timelines, task coordination, and interdepartmental communication.
- Support overall development of event strategy that aligns with sales, partner, and brand goals.
- Trade shows/location-based events: develop trade show booth schematics, schedule staffing, collaborate with vendors, develop and/or verify support materials are available, and oversee shipping of booth supplies.
- Virtual events: coordinate platform setup, speaker scheduling, technical checks, dry-runs, digital assets (presentations and support materials), registration, and brand alignment.
- Act as primary event support and trouble shoot during live events to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain budget accuracy as well as leverage savings opportunities through co-sponsorships.
- Lead post-event debriefs to gather feedback, document insights, and share learnings across teams.
Event Promotions & Marketing Communications
- Develop and/or coordinate pre- and post-event campaigns, including emails, landing pages, ads, and internal support materials (briefs, staffing guides, lead capture instructions).
- Write and edit content for event announcements, session highlights, recaps, and promotional materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all event communications and marketing collateral.
- Coordinate messaging with internal teams to align with broader campaign and brand strategy.
Social Media Marketing & Event Amplification
- Create and schedule paid and organic social media content to promote events and showcase Singlewire's products and brand.
- Coordinate across teams to collect content (photos, videos, quotes, stories) before, during, and after events to use in social media, boost engagement, and repurpose for future use.
- Monitor performance and report key insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues as well as others from sales, product, and leadership to align messaging and event goals.
- Share regular updates and support execution through project plans and check-ins.
- Maintain marketing calendars and documentation to support planning and visibility.
- Stay current on event marketing trends and tools to recommend improvements.
- Support the marketing team on other projects as assigned.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track event metrics such as attendance, lead volume, engagement, and cost per lead.
- Create post-event summaries with insights and actionable recommendations.
- Evaluate event impact on campaign performance and pipeline contribution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in event planning, marketing communications, and social media-preferably in B2B or partner programs.
- Proven experience managing trade shows, conferences, and virtual events (webinars, roundtables, training).
- Strong writing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Proficient in social media platforms and virtual marketing tools (LinkedIn, YouTube, Wista, WebEx).
- Skilled in managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines across teams.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and presenting ideas to stakeholders.
