Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Rock Island, IL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The primary focus of this position is to perform duties in a manufacturing environment, within areas including Surfacing, Finishing, and Coating.
  • All duties and procedures are to be performed according to the established standard and in compliance with all company and governing body policies.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $16 - $19/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (6 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Surfacing, Finishing, and Coating.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment and regularly work with and communicate with others in a team.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence in English.
  • Basic ability to add, subtract, understand decimal numerical sequencing, and accurately compare number and letter sequences.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement/ interpret the organization's goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, multi-task, prioritize, and use good judgment.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • It is necessary that this position maintain regular, prompt attendance and availability for overtime as needed.
  • Needs close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Capable of coordinated use of hands and fingers to grasp and feel objects, transfer small items from one hand to another, fine manipulation, and bilateral reach with arms.
  • Able to stand in one place for 10-12 hours daily.
  • Capable of completing activities that include repetitive motions.
