Project Engineer

A Project engineering position in East Hartford, CT is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a mechanical engineering or aerospace bachelor's degree with an active and transferrable Secret clearance and 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the aerospace industry. You should have experience leading and working with multi-disciplinary teams and communicating with customers and suppliers. Scrum and agile experience are highly preferred.

Job Duties:
*Leading teams and working to manage customer tasks, create engineering schedules, and status the performance
*Create tech data packages to support hardware being quoted and purchased
*Track hardware through the procurement cycle to the established timelines
*Have very good communication and problem-solving skills. Recommend solutions.
*Ability to lead independently or within a team to drive tasks to closure
*Adaptive to change to meet timelines.

Required Qualifications:
*An active and transferrable Secret Clearance at the time of hire
*Experience running multi-disciplinary teams
*Project scheduling, creating Gantt charts and generating critical paths
* Mechanical engineering or Aerospace bachelor"s degree

*Scrum Master Certification
*PM Certification
*SAP, Teamcenter, Jira, Confluence

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $55,000 to $115,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
