The Human Resources (HR) Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the HR department and ensuring that the HR functions are efficient and effective to support the organization. This position performs a variety of HR related tasks at a professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following HR core process areas; HR Compliance, HRIS Reports, onboarding support, training, and other general HR responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an HR role/department, with a strong focus on HR processes, procedures, and overall customer service and service delivery.
  • Must read, write speak English fluently.
  • Exceptional customer service skills required.
  • Basic math and keyboarding knowledge.
  • Experience working with a variety of computer applications as a primary function, including experience with Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR management, business, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS system (Lawson, PeopleSoft, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of electronic personnel file system (OnBase).
