Compensation: $3,200 per course / per quarter Position Summary The College of Health Profession's Online Programs, the Departments of Population Health and Administration, Nutrition, Lifestyle Medicine, and Interprofessional Healthcare Studies which includes a PhD in interprofessional healthcare studies and a graduate program in Health Professions Education, anticipate the future need and invite applications to be considered for the positions of Adjunct Lecturer to teach in their online courses at the graduate level and certificate programs. Position requires the lecturer to be a healthcare professional or health professions educator and content expert in the topic of the particular course assigned. Please see the Required Education & Experience section below for specific requirements for each program. The positions require developing and presenting material in the department approved online format as well as assessing student performance. The lecturer will also advise students on their progress in the course and program based upon program expectations and interact with other program faculty and administrators related to program matters. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Teach online courses in area of content expertise as listed under Required Education and Experience section of this posting. Edit course materials as required to keep course content current. Facilitate and evaluate student learning in the online environment. Advise students as needed related to progress in the program or courses. Experience with student performance assessment in the online environment.
