Per-Diem Medical Assistant Category: Healthcare Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-384495 Certified Medical Assistant needed for a per-diem contract opportunity at Yoh's growing client located in Frisco, TX. This job is located at a clinic that offers occupational, primary, and urgent care type services for employees of a corporate office. You'll be assisting the Nurse and/or provider by covering both front and back office. --> SCHEDULE ONLY AS-NEEDED between Monday and Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. So far we need: May 23rd, May 30th, and Monday July 21st through Friday July 25th. Additional one or two shifts of orientation provided. Top Skills You Should Possess: Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) highly preferred Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee What You'll Be Doing: Greet patients and check them in/out Answer phones and schedule appointments Outreach to employees for follow-up visits Maintain employee health records (using EPIC). Room patients First-aid support (ie applying dressings) Administer vaccines, venipuncture, and pass out meds, as directed by the RN What You Need to Bring to the Table: BLS/CPR certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted) Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFERON Gold test Must be confident with front and back office responsibilities as you will be the only MA Strong organizational skills and good at multi-tasking What's In It For You?
