About Rehab and Nursing Center-Kentridge We are located on a 10-acre campus. Our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to provide opportunities for improving independence, strength, and confidence. Two main floor courtyards provide outdoor space for rest and renewal. Most patient rooms are private, and have an attached bathroom and shower, television with cable, phone, and a large window. Each unit has a large and accessible living and dining space, and a menu-based meal service is provided. About Rehab and Nursing Center-Leffingwell The Rehab and Nursing Center - Leffingwell was designed with healing in mind. The center offers 80 private rooms with beautiful nature views. In addition to a dedicated interdisciplinary team, physical, occupational, recreation and speech therapists will provide patients with a customized therapy program designed to meet individual rehabilitation needs. Our expert team of therapists will use the latest technology and techniques to maximize independence and mobility to help prepare patients to return home. About Rehab and Nursing Center Cedar The Rehabilitation & Nursing Center - Cedar was designed with the word "home" in mind. The home is more spacious than the previous 52-year-old Fuller Street facility and boasts many new amenities, including four spacious interior courtyards; a new dining room; on-site dialysis den; art room, private and semiprivate rooms with their own window, restroom and shower; modern furnishings; and new technology, to make these community members feel at home. Scope of Work The LPN Graduate Nurse will have an opportunity to experience long term care (LTC), sub-acute Rehab (SAR), and multiple specialties in Rehab and Nursing clinical environments with additional exposure to various medically complex situations and hands on experience in preparation for transition into an LPN position. It is expected that LPN Graduate Nurses will successfully obtain certification/licensure from the State of Michigan and transition into a Licensed Practical Nurse role within 120 days of hire. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must be enrolled in final semester of an approved nursing certification program and expected to successfully graduate by semester's end OR be a recent graduate from an accredited school of nursing who has not yet obtained licensure from the State of Michigan. AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
