Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Cash Analyst to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cash Analyst to support our day-to-day cash application operations and assist in our transition to a consolidated banking platform. This position will focus on posting cash receipts accurately and timely while also contributing to the successful migration of banking operations, processes, and data across multiple bank accounts into a unified structure.

Responsibilities:

  • Post daily cash receipts from various payment methods (ACH, wire, lockbox, checks, credit cards) into Costpoint system
  • Apply incoming payments accurately to customer accounts and open invoices
  • Research and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash transactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, IT) during the transition to a consolidated bank
  • Works with treasury analyst to migrate customers to electronic payment
  • Assist in mapping and testing new bank file formats for cash receipt integration within bank
  • Help document procedures and support training related to updated cash application workflows
  • Provide ongoing support and analysis to ensure cash receipts are processed without disruption during and after the migration
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

The list of accountabilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other education- and experience-related duties that management may deem necessary from time to time.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in cash application, treasury, or accounts receivable
  • Experience with ERP systems - Costpoint preferred
  • Experience with online banking platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience supporting banking migrations or system consolidations
  • Familiarity with automated cash application tools
